Cash Strapped Corporations Cut Down Their Executive Business Travels

The Regus Group, a major player in public access studio market reported 40% increase in its video conference bookings as majority of the companies are reducing their executives travel expenditure by opting the virtual technology. Mark Dixon, CEO of Regus Group opines that global economic conditions pull down the companies’ capacity to spend on traditional business travels and meetings. As they strongly believe that video conference can save close to 75% of expenditure compared to the executive’s business travel. Virtual Cummunity IMUV Gets $10 million

Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA) Survey Confirms Reduced Booth Traffic
Posted on January 20, 2009 | No CommentsBtoBOnline reported that a recent survey of exhibitors conducted by TSEA confirmed “that a large percentage of trade show booths have seen a drop in traffic over the last year.” The online survey is titled “2008 Event ROI Study: Research Findings and Implications” though there is no mention of the survey on the TSEA site when we searched for information.
