It’s now pitching itself as an online schoolhouse.” There are still many large companies using Second Life including Intel, Cisco, Microsoft and Sun, and Dan Parks of the Virtualis Convention Center on Second Life says he is busier than ever with corporate and association meetings and conferences. CGS Manages Full-service Virtual Events for Top Clients—On an Open Source Platform

They are one of only a few virtual events producers that has an almost 100 percent open source software platform. “That really leaves the door open for a lot of integration, expansion, and scalability,” says Tom Wieser, vice president of the Virtual Solutions division.
