Smart City to Offer Video Stream and Capture for Exhibitors at 35 Convention Centers

Some events have gone to the extreme of dropping their virtual exhibits because the exhibitors aren’t getting enough return. I’m still a believer in the exhibition hall as a great way for producers to fund events and for exhibitors to generate leads, promote their brand and most importantly, educate their customers and prospects. Furthermore, they have also launched their new platform vSearchCloud vSearch which is an evolution of their solution to utilize the cloud for unlimited scalable storage and delivery of multimedia content with their extremely powerful search capabilities. Attendance Has Grown 25% This Year at Cisco Live– Some Say Their Virtual Strategy Has a Casual Relationship
Posted on July 18, 2011 | 3 Comments15,000 people were at Cisco Live last week in Las Vegas up from 12,000 the previous year which was up from the prior year significantly as well. Cisco Live has been one of the few events (unfortunately) to track and try to measure who attends virtually and whether they attend in-person after their virtual experience. Their data has shown that about a third of their virtual attendees make plans to attend in-person. That’s one of the reasons that Staci Clark, Cisco Live’s Global Marketing Strategy Manager has shifted their approach to virtual to a pure marketing activity versus a direct revenue generation program.
