Adobe Launches Adobe Connect 9
On June 12, Adobe released Adobe Connect 9, latest version of company’s virtual meeting software. Driven by Adobe CQ Web content management and Adobe SiteCatalyst online analytics, Adobe Connect 9 is a complete solution for producing webinars for up to 1,500 participants. Additionally, it provides analytics tools for the measurement of campaign and speaker effectiveness. SAP Announces New Social Innovations for StreamWork
On June 13, SAP announced additional social enhancements to StreamWork, its enterprise collaboration solution. The new features provide additional flexibility to users to keep track of agendas, files, notes, projects, and deadlines from one screen. Additionally, Mikogo, remote desktop tool for online meeting and web conferencing, integrates seamlessly with StreamWork and enable users to schedule, host, participate in virtual meetings, and share their desktop from within their SAP StreamWork activities. MCI Dublin Launches MeetSmarter Hybrid Event
MCI Dublin has teamed up with Meet In Ireland, Failte Ireland and Kerry Convention Bureau to launch MeetSmarter, a fully hosted hybrid meeting designed specifically to target senior management in corporations and associations. The inaugural event “A new dawn in meetings: the future is hybrid” will take place in Killarney, Ireland, on 21 and 22 June 2012. The event will bring together several Irish digital communication agencies such as Mulley Communications, O’Leary Communications and Dot Dash to reveal how innovative digital technologies are extending the reach of meetings and events. “Events, be they corporate meetings or association conferences, are no longer bound by time and space constraints. The opportunity now exists for three audiences to consume an event; the live audience, the online audience and the offline, post event audience,” said Mark Egan, National Events Director at MCI Dublin.
